Localization and translation

KiCad usage tricks

For proper generation of component placement information (used by SMT machines) in the module properties you have to choose "Module properties -> Atributes -> Normal+Insert". The elements which have attribute "Normal" does not get in placement file.

Electrical schematics and PCB terminology

The WikiNode lists related wiki, including some wiki that discuss electronics in general.

CNC milling/drilling of PCB

Is possible to make PCB by milling and drilling them on a CNC machine. There are even many and cheap (less than 750€) and DIY CNC machines, where you can make your PCB designed on KiCad.
